Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chicken Breast

📝 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 to 2 lbs)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika (for color and a slight kick)
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or chives

🔪 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

2. Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Place them in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.

3. Make the Topping

  • In a medium bowl, mix together:
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • (Optional: 1 tsp paprika)

4. Coat the Chicken

  • Spread the mayo-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  • Make sure each piece is fully covered—this keeps the chicken juicy during baking.

5. Bake

  • Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and bubbly.
  • If you want more browning, broil for the last 2–3 minutes, watching closely.

6. Garnish and Serve

  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.
