⭐️ Introduction:

This is a simple twist on a classic meatloaf recipe using Stove Top stuffing mix. It’s packed with savory flavor, requires minimal ingredients, and takes just minutes to prepare before baking. Whether you’re feeding a hungry family or prepping meals for the week, this comforting meatloaf is a winner every time. Serve it with mashed potatoes, green beans, or your favorite gravy.

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 box (6 oz) Stove Top Stuffing (any flavor, e.g., savory herb or chicken)
  • 1 cup water or beef broth
  • 2 lbs ground beef (or use 1 lb beef + 1 lb ground pork for extra flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional, for extra moisture)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

📝 Instructions & Method:

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2: Soften the Stuffing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Stove Top stuffing with 1 cup of water or broth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.

Step 3: Mix the Meatloaf

  • Add the ground beef, eggs, ketchup, milk (if using), onion, garlic powder, and pepper to the bowl with the stuffing.
  • Mix everything together gently using clean hands or a spoon until just combined. Don’t overmix—it can make the meatloaf tough.

Step 4: Shape and Bake

  • Press the meat mixture into your prepared loaf pan.
  • Spread a layer of ketchup (or BBQ sauce) on top for a sweet-savory glaze.
  • Bake uncovered for 50–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Step 5: Rest and Serve

  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, veggies, or a side salad.
