Tropical Breeze Version

Introduction

The Strawberry–Blue Hawaiian (Tropical Breeze Version) is a vibrant, island-inspired twist on the classic Blue Hawaiian. Blending juicy strawberries with creamy coconut, sweet pineapple, and a stunning ocean-blue swirl, this drink delivers a refreshing tropical breeze in every sip. It’s perfect for summer parties, beach-themed gatherings, or whenever you want a mini-vacation in a glass.

The layered red-and-blue color makes it gorgeous, while the fruity flavor keeps it smooth, sweet, and unbelievably refreshing.

🍹 Instructions

Step 1 — Make the Strawberry Base

  1. Add strawberries, rum (optional), simple syrup, coconut cream, and ice to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and thick.
  3. Pour into the bottom of a tall chilled glass.
  4. Place the glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to help keep layers separate.

Step 2 — Prepare the Tropical Blue Hawaiian Layer

  1. Rinse the blender.
  2. Add light rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, coconut cream, and crushed ice.
  3. Blend until smooth and frosty.

Step 3 — Create the Tropical Breeze Effect

  1. Slowly pour or spoon the Blue Hawaiian mixture over the strawberry layer.
    • Pouring gently over the back of a spoon helps keep the colors separate.

Step 4 — Garnish & Serve

  1. Add a pineapple wedge, strawberry, or cherry on a skewer.
  2. Serve immediately with a straw.

  • Chill the glass between layers.

3. Sweeter or Less Sweet

  • Adjust simple syrup level in the strawberry layer.
  • Add a splash of pineapple juice for extra sweetness.
