  • ½ English cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or chopped romaine
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Optional: sliced Kalamata olives, pickled onions, or cucumbers

👩‍🍳 Instructions & Methods

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken and coat well in the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (ideally 2–4 hours for best flavor).

Step 2: Make the Tzatziki Sauce

  1. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess water using paper towels or a clean cloth.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and dill.
  3. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Chill until ready to serve—this helps the flavors develop.

Step 3: Grill the Chicken

Method:

  • Outdoor grill: Preheat to medium-high heat. Grill chicken 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Stovetop: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil. Cook 5–6 minutes per side.

When done, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

Step 4: Warm the Pitas

  • Warm each pita in a skillet for 30–60 seconds per side, or wrap them in foil and heat in the oven for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Assemble the Wraps

  1. Spread a generous spoonful of tzatziki over each warm pita.
  2. Add sliced grilled chicken.
  3. Top with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and feta.
  4. Add optional olives or pickled onions for extra flavor.
  5. Fold or roll the pita into a wrap and enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with Greek salad, roasted potatoes, or lemon herb rice.
  • Add extra tzatziki or hummus on the side.
  • For a lighter option, turn the wrap into a salad bowl.
